Ships ahoy....

So much has happened since my last post. The last piece of equipment R needed to sail to Kodiak was delayed by a week, then he was offered a job tindering crab, he reworked his boat to do that job and then that job fell through. It has been an emotional roller coaster and at the end of it all R is more determined and resolved then ever to fish and fish well. Its possible that he will fish with no refrigeration and just ice the fish which will take longer and cost more time running back and forth to the cannery everyday. His heart and mind are more at peace then I have seen yet. I'm thankful even in the midst of unknowns and psych outs! God is good and God has every little thing under control and R's heart is at the top of His list. So that last piece of equipment came today and R set out from Wrangell about 2 hours ago. He will likely be sailing for the next 4-5 days.

Pray:
- for smooth seas, some weather reports predict high seas and winds.
- for calm nerves for R and Caleb as they sail
- for a cannery to buy their fish when they get to Kodiak
- for a skif (small boat) and net to be available in Kodiak.
- for the captain to make good on his word to fish for R
- for a continued testimony to Christ in all that we do this summer on this adventure.

Thanks!
